About Me

People from all walks of life go to counselling. It takes courage to step into this intimate setting to take a candid look into yourself. It’s important that you feel comfortable and find a counsellor that respects and hears you. I have over 30 years experience as a spiritual counsellor, hands on healer and facilitator of earth based spirituality with a special interest in trauma recovery, empowerment, ceremony, and sexual assault risk reduction.

I offer counselling by the Manitou River. This picturesque and peaceful setting ensures privacy and a natural surrounding which is calming to the senses. I am also available through Skype, Zoom, FaceTime or phone.

My Approach

Sometimes life can throw us some difficult challenges. Sometimes we know what is affecting us other times we don’t. All we know is that something is not right and we don’t know what to do to change it.

I am of the opinion that there are a variety of healthy and imaginative ways to address the challenges with which we are faced.

I offer a safe, private and confidential space to help you clarify your thoughts and feelings, so you can arrive at your own decisions and make changes that make sense for you and your world. With some creative thinking, compassion and an openness to exploration – finding new approaches to life’s challenges can even become pleasurable and enlightening.

My counselling approach is based on my observation that the world is a complex mystery.

I am convinced that sometimes we lose ourselves along our way. When this happens, I believe we can benefit from having allies who can see us, hear us and support us in re-integrating our personal wisdom.

My counselling style is holistic and embraces all life. For me, it is important to listen with the heart along with the head. Unconditional positive regard and respect are cornerstones in all of my work.
